STAR stands for SouthWest Tulsa Area Restoration Coalition. Richard Ryan is the Interim President and Kelly Markwardt is the Secretary. STAR has several sub-committees that could always use helping hands. Feel free to contact us if you might be interested in lending your assistance.

STAR has been in contact with the Mayor's office regarding Crystal City and the multiple code violations that structure presents and have received positive feedback from the Mayor.
STAR will be scheduling and organizing community clean up days for specific areas, such as around schools. Also we will help organize Neighborhood Clean ups.
STAR will be working with local garden clubs and other volunteers to conduct a Redbud and Crepe Myrtle Campaign.
Monthly meetings are held the last Tuesday evening of each month, 6:00 at Trinity Baptist. Many things are in the planning stages, such as finding grants and volunteers. As dates become available we will post them on this webpage.
STAR does have a brochure available that explains community property standards.
STAR is involved in code enforcement and we can work directly with the City in turning violators in and getting a fast response from the City.
